Terms & Conditions.
Last updated: 7 May 2026
Please read these Terms carefully.These Terms and Conditions («Terms») form a binding contract between you and Mind in Lemon Ltd («we», «us», «our»). They govern your booking and attendance at any workshop, retreat, or other service we offer. By completing a booking, attending a workshop, or using our website, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms in full.
1. About us
Mind in Lemon Ltd is a company offering experiential workshops based on a proprietary method we call Pensamiento Tangible. Our flagship workshop, Fuera de Mapa, is delivered in person in Barcelona, Spain.
2. Booking process
All bookings are made through Eventbrite. By completing a booking, you confirm that:
- The information you provide is true, accurate, and complete.
- You are at least 18 years old.
- You accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
- You accept Eventbrite's own terms of service, which govern the transaction.
- You are booking on your own behalf, or with the explicit authorisation of any other person whose details you provide.
Your booking is confirmed when Eventbrite sends you a confirmation email. If for any reason your booking cannot be confirmed (for example, if the session fills up before payment is completed), you will receive a full refund without delay.
3. Price and payment
The price of each workshop is shown on the booking page at the time of purchase. Prices include all applicable taxes.
Payment is made in full at the time of booking through Eventbrite. We do not see or store your card details.
4. Cancellations and refunds
4.1 If you cancel
You may cancel your booking and receive a full refund if you notify us at least 7 calendar days before the date of the workshop.
To cancel, write to us at the email address indicated or use Eventbrite's cancellation function.
4.2 No-shows
If you do not attend a workshop you have booked, and you have not cancelled in accordance with section 4.1, the booking fee is normally non-refundable.
At our discretion, and depending on the circumstances and availability, we may offer a transfer to a future session or a partial credit. We are not obliged to do so.
This policy reflects the fact that workshop places are limited and reserved specifically for each participant, and that costs associated with the session are incurred in advance.
4.3 Late arrivals
Sessions begin promptly at the published time. To preserve the group experience and avoid interruptions, late arrivals may not be admitted once the workshop has started.
Where admission is not possible due to the phase of the session already underway, the booking will generally be treated as a missed attendance under section 4.2.
4.4 If we cancel
Occasionally we may need to cancel or reschedule a session, for example if a facilitator is ill, or if a force majeure event (see section 14) prevents us from delivering the workshop safely.
If we cancel, you will receive a full refund. If we reschedule, you may accept the new date or request a full refund. We are not responsible for consequential costs you may have incurred (travel, accommodation, time off, lost income, or any other cost).
4.5 Refund processing
Refunds are processed through Eventbrite and normally appear within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank or card provider. Eventbrite's processing fees may be non-refundable; we are not responsible for these fees, which are set by Eventbrite under its own agreement with you.
5. Right of withdrawal
Under United Kingdom and EU consumer protection law, consumers normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal in respect of contracts concluded online. This right does not apply to services tied to a specific date or period of performance, including workshops. By completing your booking, you acknowledge that the workshop is scheduled for a specific date and that the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply once the booking is confirmed. Section 4 above is the cancellation policy that applies.
6. Attendance, your responsibilities
By attending a workshop, you agree to:
- Arrive on time, ready to participate.
- Treat other participants and facilitators with respect at all times.
- Inform us in advance of any allergies, dietary restrictions, accessibility needs, or relevant medical or psychological conditions, so we can accommodate where reasonably possible.
- Take responsibility for your belongings during the session.
- Not attend under the influence of alcohol or non-prescribed drugs.
- Comply with reasonable instructions given by a facilitator during the session.
We reserve the right to refuse admission or terminate participation where reasonably necessary to protect the wellbeing, safety, or experience of participants and facilitators. This may include situations where:
- behaviour is threatening, abusive, or significantly disruptive;
- a participant appears seriously affected by alcohol or non-prescribed drugs;
- a facilitator's reasonable instructions are repeatedly ignored; or
- participation creates a material risk to others or to the integrity of the session.
Where reasonably possible, concerns will first be addressed through dialogue and de-escalation.
7. Confidentiality of the room
Our workshops encourage personal reflection in a small-group setting. We ask all participants to respect the privacy and dignity of others.
By attending, you agree not to intentionally disclose personal or identifying information shared by another participant during the session without their consent.
This does not prevent:
- commenting on your own experience;
- sharing general impressions of the workshop; or
- making disclosures where required by law or necessary to protect someone from serious harm.
8. Photography and recording
Our usual practice is to photograph materials, compositions, and details of the workshop rather than identifiable images of participants.
If you do not wish any image containing your hands, your work, or your materials to be used for promotional purposes, you may notify us before or during the session, and we will make reasonable efforts to respect your preference.
Participants may not record, photograph, or publish identifiable images or recordings of other people without their explicit consent.
9. Health, medical disclaimer, and assumption of risk
9.1
The workshop is educational and experiential in nature. It is not a medical, psychiatric, psychological, or therapeutic service, and nothing provided during the workshop constitutes diagnosis, treatment, clinical advice, or healthcare.
9.2
If you are experiencing significant mental health difficulties, emotional distress, or any condition that may make participation unsuitable, we recommend consulting a qualified professional before attending.
9.3
Participation may involve emotional reflection and dialogue. Individual experiences vary, and some participants may experience unexpected emotional responses.
By attending, you acknowledge that you are choosing to participate voluntarily and you take responsibility for monitoring your own wellbeing during the session.
9.4
The workshop may involve the use of common craft materials such as scissors, glue, paper, and small objects. Participants agree to use the materials responsibly and to notify the facilitators of any relevant accessibility or safety concerns.
9.5
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion would be unlawful.
10. Intellectual property
All workshop materials, concepts, written content, brand methods, visual identity elements, and original workshop structures developed by Mind in Lemon Ltd remain our intellectual property unless stated otherwise.
Participants may use workshop materials solely for personal, non-commercial purposes.
You may not, without prior written permission:
- commercially reproduce workshop materials;
- offer training substantially derived from our proprietary materials or brand methodology;
- use our trade names, logos, or brand concepts in a way that may create confusion as to affiliation or endorsement.
Nothing in this section prevents participants from discussing ideas, inspiration, or general concepts learned through the workshop in a personal or professional context.
11. Testimonials and feedback
If you voluntarily provide feedback, reviews, testimonials, or reflections about the workshop, you grant us permission to use that content for promotional purposes in anonymised or non-identifying form.
We will not publish personally identifying information without separate consent.
You may request the removal of identifiable testimonial material from the digital platforms we directly control, and we will make reasonable efforts to comply within a reasonable timeframe.
12. Limitation of liability
12.1
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for:
- death or personal injury caused by negligence;
- fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or
- any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
12.2
Subject to section 12.1, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the workshop will not exceed the amount paid by you for the workshop in question.
12.3
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:
- indirect or consequential losses;
- loss of business, profit, opportunity, or revenue;
- travel or accommodation costs associated with attendance;
- decisions made by participants during or after the workshop; or
- acts or omissions of third parties outside our reasonable control.
Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
13. Indemnity
You are responsible for losses or damage directly caused by:
- your unlawful conduct;
- the deliberate misuse of workshop materials or venue property; or
- your intentional infringement of our intellectual property rights.
Nothing in this clause makes you liable for losses that are unforeseeable, indirect, or not reasonably attributable to your actions.
14. Force majeure
Neither party is liable for failure or delay in performing its obligations under these Terms where caused by an event outside its reasonable control, including but not limited to: act of God, fire, flood, earthquake, extreme weather conditions, pandemic or epidemic, government action, war, terrorism, civil disturbance, strike or labour dispute, transport disruption, supply failure, or unavailability of the venue («Force Majeure Event»).
If a Force Majeure Event prevents us from delivering a workshop, we will offer you the choice of a rescheduled date or a full refund. Beyond that refund, we are not liable for any cost, loss, or inconvenience that the Force Majeure Event may cause you.
15. Complaints procedure
If you experience a problem or concern related to a workshop, we encourage you to contact us directly first so that we have the opportunity to address the matter promptly and fairly.
We aim to:
- acknowledge complaints within 7 business days; and
- provide a substantive response within 21 business days where reasonably possible.
Nothing in this section restricts your statutory rights, including the right to leave honest reviews, seek independent advice, contact regulators, or pursue legal remedies where appropriate.
16. Severability
If any clause of these Terms is held by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that clause is severed from the rest of the Terms. The remaining clauses continue in full force and effect. Where possible, the unenforceable clause will be replaced by a valid clause that achieves the closest legal effect.
17. No waiver
If we do not insist on strict performance of any obligation under these Terms, or if we delay in exercising any right or remedy, that does not amount to a waiver of that obligation, right, or remedy.
18. Entire agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us in relation to your booking and attendance. They supersede any previous representation, understanding, or agreement, whether oral or written.
19. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The Terms in force at the time of your booking are those that apply to that booking. Future bookings will be subject to the Terms in force on the date of those bookings.
20. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Where legally permitted, disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer resident in another jurisdiction, including Spain or another EU member state, you continue to benefit from any mandatory consumer protections available under the laws of your country of residence.
